Imaging of the Gastric Bypass Patient
- Review the different surgical techniques for Bariatric Surgery
- Discuss and review the imaging of normal patients s/p roux en y gastric bypass and laparascopic gastric band surgery
- Review and illustrate the potential complications in patients who have undergone roux en y gastric bypass and laparascopic gastric band surgery including leaks, abscess, perforations, SBO and internal hernias
Malignant Lesions of the Bile Ducts and Gallbladder
- Review the pathologic and Bismuth classification of cholangiocarcinoma, clinical features and imaging of the different cholangiocarcinoma morphologies
- Review the imaging features of resectable and nonresectable disease
- Review the imaging features and stages of Gallbladder carcinoma
CT of Acute Mesenteric Ischemia and GI Bleed
Review the causes and CT features of Acute Mesenteric Ischemia
- Discuss the different types of ischemia and review the imaging features of Arterial Inflow disease including occlusive, non-occlusive and vasculitis
- Discuss the different types of Venous Outflow ischemic disease and review imaging features of venous occlusion and closed loop bowel obstruction
- Illustrate imaging features of Acute GI Bleed
