How to Download and Access Quoting Software for American Amicable UHL
(These two companies are our core carriers for mortgage protection products and they do NOT require Errors & Omissions Insurance. Make sure you get familiar with this software)
How to Download the American Amicable (Am Am) quoting software:
***Make sure you turn Off your Firewall when downloading the software. You can turn it back ON once you finish the downloading process***
1)Log in to and enter your username & password(You will receive your login information once your set up packet is approved).
2)Click on the CARRIERS tab, then select AMERICAN AMICABLE from the drop down box.
3)Download the American Amicable software (You may need to disable firewall)
4)Make sure to now download the 4 add-ons: Home Certainty, Dignity Solutions & Family Legacy, Easy Term, and Easy UL.
5)This will download their software onto your computer so you can access it anytime to run quotes.
6)You will be using Am Am for Term & Return of Premium (ROP) products.
7)Practice running quotes using family members.
How to Run the United Home Life (UHL) quoting software: (Online only, Cannot download)
1)Log in to and enter your password. (You will receive your login information once your set up packet is approved).
2)Click on the CARRIERS tab, then select UNITED HOME LIFE from the drop down box.
3)Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see a blue hyperlink that says:
RATE GUIDES (QUICK QUOTES), click on that link and enter the password- colts
4)This is a web based calculator so you have to be connected to the internet to run quotes.
5)You will be Using UHL for Whole life products, Final Expense products, Some Term, and a Return of Premium Accidental Death Product
6)If you click on the AGENT GUIDES/BROCHURES button you will be able to print Agent Guides and Applications for every product they have.
If you have Errors & Omissions Insurance you can sell the Indexed Universal Life (IUL) & Fixed Indexed Annuities
1)You have to fill out contracting paperwork for Life of the Southwest and American Equity in order to sell these products. It can take a few weeks to get you set up so follow thse steps right away if you have Errors & Omissions Insurance.
2)Call your Up-line manager and Ask for the set up paperwork to get you contracted with Life of the Southwest & American Equity.
3)Once your contracting paperwork is complete with each company you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to complete their REQUIRED product specific training and Anti-Money Laundering requirements. You must complete this before selling their products.
4)Once you receive your log-in and password to each company call them and ask them: “What is the State specific requirements you need before selling their products”.
