LITTLE STOKE PLAYER PROFILES
- ASH COLES (Colesy) – Manager - Been with the club 8 years as a player, 3rdyear in charge of the team. Previously managed at Almondsbury FC before playing for Patchway reserves. VERY straight talking Manager but receives a lot of stick for wearing flares on a night out
- TIM O’LOUGHLIN – Assistant Manager – 2nd season with LSFC and stepped up this season to assistant Manager. Very experianced player who can play at the back or midfield. Loves nothing more than a flutter on the horses.
- PAUL WILLIAMS (Fruitcake) – Assistant Manager – Was Colesy’s assistant at Almondsbury. Great character around the club but “cant drink soup” and loves adultwork.com
- AMIN JONES – 1st season with LSFC signing from rivals Lebeq. Very experianced keeper who seems to get better with age
- LUKE LANGSON – “The Mad Monk” – Great goalkeeper & shot stopper and character to have around the dressing room. Loves a row with the ref but injured so there safe now and he used to be a DJ
- OLLIE BACON – 3rdSeason with the club signing from Patchway Town. Consistent player who always gives 100%. Also loves nothing better than a feed after the game.
- DANNY COCKRAM – 2ndseason with the club after spells at Almondsbury, Hallen and Patchway. Great left foot but the only player to be sick in pre-season
- TODD BRUNT – Long serving player playing almost his whole career with Little Stoke does have the occasional act as a boomerang but always ends up coming back. Great utility player who can play a number of positions
- MATTY PRICE – “SHAUN DERRY” – Veteran of the team and club captain. Been with the team 7 seasons. Greatly experianced and influential and like a fine wine he gets better with age
- MATT SHAUGHNESSY – 1ST Season with LSFC, former GCL winner with Cribbs FC and can play with both feet at either full back positions
- MATT SIMONS – 2nd Season with LSFC, missed out last season due to travelling. Very powerful centre forward who causes the defenders a nightmare of an afternoon.
- NICK RUGMAN – 2nd spell at the club after brief spells with Stoke Gifford and Almondsbury. Very quick goal scorer who loves a moan.
- SIMON BONE – 1st season with LSFC signed from Stapleton and another GCL winner with Cribbs FC. Great goal scorer and someone we have told loves a night out.
- JORDAN YEO – Signed from Almondsbury for his 1st season with LSFC. Another GCL winner who played for local rivals Patchway Town. Skilful winger with a great delivery
- JOE WHEELER – Signed from Lawrence Weston last season, skilful midfielder who distributes the ball well. Loves nothing better than going for a lie down after the game.
- LUKE SPERRING – “The wrecking ball” signed from Chipping Sodbury at the start of last season. Giant at the back and loves a challange as the Hardwicke keeper found out......
- BLAINE MITCHELL – Another long serving player. On & off over the years. Tough tackling midfielder who has a lot of county league experience. Got to stay away from Kev Smith LOL
- SAMMY THOMAS – The energetic welshman in the middle of the park, got a great engine and covers every blade of grass and another one who loves a challange.
- OWEN GREENING – 3rd year with LSFC. Very quick winger who full backs struggle to catch. Good job the barriers are up to stop him running into the road. King of photoshop
- KIERAN WILLIAMS – 2nd year with LSFC signing from Winterbourne. Skilful midfielder and good passer of the ball but do not ever let him wash the kit.
- KANE LANSDOWN – 3rd year with LSFC. Committed utility player who will play anywhere. Used to love a night out with the boys but now it’s “date night” with the new girlfriend
- FRAZER ROBERTSON – “Chocolate Ankles” – 3rd year with LSFC. A very fit midfielder who gets all around the pitch. Skilful player who is at the root of all banter
- SIMON KNIGHT – 2nd season with LSFC who was joint top scorer last season. Natural goal scoring forward but probably the only player to get sent off twice in a season for diving
- ZAC COSGROVE – Another long serving committed LSFC player. Versatile skilful player who can play anywhere in midfield or attack. Can’t last the pace on tour !!
- ETHAN TUCKER – Youngest player in the team who has a bright future. Big strong centre forward. Hope he stays away from what we never – “Women & Beer”
