•An article in the Herald-Leaders states that “in 1995 an average annual contribution to any given church was $498.20.” Pax Christi, however, had an average annual contribution of $661.32 in the past year.

•We hold a “Fat Saturday” spaghetti dinner.
•Visiting ministers for a weekend of masses in the spirit of Christian Unity include Rev. Nancy Copeland from Maxwell Presbyterian, Rev. Robert Sessum from Good Shepherd Episcopal.
•We begin Lenten small group scripture sharing on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays, using the Disciples in Mission program.
March •We are a parish of 361 families.

•The Annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner is held at Pax Christi.
•The “We are saints and sinners” statement appears in the bulletin for the first time.
•Medjugorje visionary Ivan Dragicevic visits Pax Christi. The church is packed with people for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, the full 15 decade rosary, the Blessed Mother’s daily visit to Ivan, Mass and a talk by Ivan.
•The Building Committee forms: Paul Kissel, Thomas Malone, Marty Reinert, Frank Sullivan, Barbara Taylor,
Jim Taylor, Ray Turenne, Julie Turok, Fred Vester and John Wagner. The first meeting is held this month.
•A “Green Food Drive” for God’s Pantry is sponsored by the 7th and 8th grade classes.
April •We are a parish of 364 families.

•An “oremus board” is placed at the back of the church. Prayers and photos with prayer requests are posted.

•The Diocese of Lexington celebrates its 10th Anniversary with a diocesan-wide mass at Rupp Arena. Sunday masses at Pax Christi are cancelled so that everyone will attend the mass at the arena.

§A Family Sharing Program is offered for Wednesday afternoons in the summer using the Seasons of Faith Home Resource books.
