DB will follow-up with GBCSA in June/July 2015 during a meeting re possible changes to the tool. Furthermore, the GBCSA also indicated that they are willing to certify the Vinyl. Brand as an eco-label. This will go a long way towards providing the Vinyl. Product label with credibility in the green building sphere. DB also explained that the Interiors tool will be pushed by the GBCSA and holds a lot of advantages for vinyl. All agreed that SAVA should proceed with its application for recognition of Vinyl as a product label under the GBCSA certification scheme.

Associated Additives indicated verbally that they will not be participating and will also cancel their membership and signatory status to the SAVA PSP as they do not intend to comply with targets and deadlines related to Pb. All suggested that this needs to be addressed as soon as official communication from Associated Additives are received in this regard. DB will follow-up with the remaining outstanding respondents. DB will consolidate the results and circulate the report to SAVA MANCO before publication. DB also suggested that the report be verified by a third party such as the Australian Vinyls Council.
