Whole Health Training
Running concurrently with our PBHCI grantee meeting, the Center for Integrated Health Solutions will be offering the Whole Health Action Management Peer Support Training Program.
We encourage your peer support specialists to attend this two-day training.
Peer Support Whole Health Two-Day Training
A two-day trainingconsists of 10 segments that conclude with a competency test and a commitment by all participants to lead a peer group in their community. Grantees should send peer leaders to attend the two-day training. Peer leaders include behavioral health staff, volunteers, or consumer board/advisory group members. Peer leaders who attend the training should agree to do the following:
1. Create and work toward their own whole health and resiliency goal;
2. Provide peer support to help other consumers reach their whole health and resiliency goal; and
3. Set up and facilitate a Whole Health, Wellness and Resiliency Peer Group that meets weekly for at least eight weeks.
At the conclusion of the two-day training, the peer leaders are provided with Whole Health Training Manuals, Goal and Weekly Action Plan Pocket Guide, a network of peers and technical support from the Center for Integrated Health Solutions to use in the peer groups they will lead in their communities.
