GENERAL CIRCUIT PLANS 2017-2018
1. Shared Vision: To be a circuit of churches with members being in right relationship with Christ and therefore living in obedience to Christ and his teachings, which manifests itself in a right relationships with , and right attitudes toward each other and others in every way; the hallmark of this shared vision being love for God, love for each other and love for all as enabled by the Holy Spirit (John 13:34-35; compare Matthew 22:36-40; Romans 13:8-12)
2. Mission: For the sake of God’s kingdom and glory, depending on the enabling of the Holy Spirit, we will always seek to know and do God’s will, always aim daily to be more Christ-like, and always aim daily to reach more for God in every way, but with special emphasis on:
i. Evangelism that prioritizes proper planning, perpetual prayer, and preparation that is biblically and theologically sound
ii. Evangelism that is ongoing and perennial through personal one to one witnessing, ministry groups efforts, and annual evangelism blitzes

- Purpose
· To promote, coordinate, implement and see to the proper execution of all circuit related events and projects in accordance with directives given by the United Council and in keeping with the expectations of the said council and the circuit in general.
· To propose new circuit related events and .projects
· To make proposals re: pastoral welfare and deal with issues related to same
· To put together a proposed circuit budget for Council Meeting # 1 at the start of each church year
· To attend United Council Meetings and other related meetings that may be called from time to time.
- Meeting of Committee
Committee shall meet at least once before each scheduled United Church Council Meeting at which a report shall be given.
