Trafford MV, from its roots back in 1923, has developed into a thriving community sports & social club for those who live, work and play in the area.
We’re very proud of our team of 48volunteerswho coach our 280 mini/junior members, and run the club.
With plans to develop our facilities and increase community activities, we offer sponsorship opportunities to companies who share our values of encouraging participation and volunteering from cradle to grave.
Along with 13 mini/junior teams, the club fields 3 rugby and 2 cricket senior teams. Add to that parents, supporters and other clubusers,over 500 attend the club each weekthroughout the year. Also events such as our annual fireworks display attract over 1200 through the gates.
In addition our extensive grounds, modern changing facilities, and recently refurbished clubhouse, are used by a softball club; fitness club; strength and conditioning gym (ATP Gym); radio club; touch rugby club; Sale Grammar school; and a playgroup. Also, we have enabled access to charities to put on fun days to raise funds and exposure for their cause.
We communicate with members via the club handbook (3000 distribution) and our website (489 registered members 3500 unique monthly visitors up 26% on 2011), and have many links with external organisations, with the clubs activities regularly featured in the press and on sports/community related websites.

There are a number of elements we have considered to make the handbook attractive to readers and advertisers/sponsors.
Readability - contains articles of interest to the reader which means that it will be read, and kept for reference at a later date
Quality – printed on high grade full colour paper with professional editing ensure the booklet has a quality feel and look
Distribution - distribution is carried out by volunteers from the club, so it won’t get bundled and overlooked with other mail
Positioning – we’ve set up the layout to maximise visibility of all ads. If you’re advert contains a strong product image, a larger advert in a less prominent position may work better than a smaller advert in a more prominent position.
Content - a discount, offer or freebie will be achieve better results than simply stating a list of the products or services you offer.
So as you can see we’ve made the booklet as attractive as possible to the reader. None the less how much money will you make – profit on investment is key. The table below demonstrates that this is a very low risk – and potentially very profitable investment opportunity.
