* / This course is open to Graduates only. Graduates must write the GAMSAT, be able to demonstrate a high GPA and will generally have an interview as part of the selection process.
** / University of Otago entry is at Second Year standard. All Year 12 students complete the Otago one-year Health Sciences First Year course then apply for selection to Medicine, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Science and Pharmacy. The UMAT is one of the selection criteria required for admission to Medicine and Dentistry following the Health Sciences First Year.
