News from LTT Labortechnik Tasler GmbH, the specialist for ultra-fast and highly flexible measurement technology
The new LTTpro Softwarefrom LTT improves the ease of use of LTT180/-182 SensorCorder, theLTT184/-186 Transient Recorder and theLTT500 General-Purpose Measuring Amplifier even further.
The setup parameters for all channels can be displayed at a glance in a tabular channel overview. Only a few clicks are needed to configure the Volt, DMS strain gauge or ICP channels. The channel parametersare specified intuitively.
Measured data are recorded continuously and without interruptions in the kHz and MHz ranges (up to 20 Mbytes/s), even with high channel counts and high signal bandwidths, and directly written in formats such as Famos or Diadem. Thus the data can be immediately post-processed usingwell-known analysis software.
The LTTpro software also supports the stand-alone recorders LTT182 and LTT186. Up to 320Gbytes of data are continuously recorded to the internal hard disk. This allows, for instance, a full day recording from 16 channels with 100kSample/s, independent from a PC. Time-synchronous cascading of multiple recorders can be easily performed.
The LTT180/182 SensorCorder comes with built-in cleverness:
Connect the sensors - measure - done!
This jack-of-all-trades offers high accuracy, when used for vibration analysis, speed-indexed force measurements, as replacement for tape recorders, as acoustic camera and much more.
For distributed measurements on large objects such as gas turbines, the systems are networked with Gigabit LAN.
For fast transient events that require high-precision and reliable acquisition, such as in connection with diesel and gasoline injection pump, crash test, engine and airbag control units, as for blast and mine protection tests or frequently repeated, speedy testing in production lines, where mathematical outcomes are used for online decision making, the LTT184/-186 Transient Recorder is the number one choice.
With sample rates up to 20 MHz per channel and up to 16-bit precision, the sturdy recorders are ideal for both mobile operation and the lab. They offer 16 synchronous differential channels that can be individually configured via software. The patented data transfer technique provides online visualisation and online data storage in real-time.
The LTT500 General-Purpose Measuring Amplifier not only complements the well-established LTT product series with additional signal conditioning features, but also any A/D converter cards and front-ends already used by the customer. When installed test benches and other measurement systems reach their technical limits, the LTT500 user will benefit from the wide range of new features without having to customise existing measurement concepts and software packages. There is no need for expensive and time-consuming enhancements or extensive software customisation, while costs and risks are brought down to a very acceptable level.
The LTT500 offers a bandwidth of 1MHz for Volt, DMS strain gauge, ICP and charge measurements with gain factors from 0.05 – 500. Any channel accepts Volt signals, strain gauge configurations (full, ½ and ¼ bridges), charge sensors, ICP accelerometers, ICP microphones and even resistors. All parameters are stored in the unit which means that their settings are enabled directly after start-up. This makes the LTT500 even suitable for stand-alone operation.
