3.6.4 The 3V subgroup would like to ask NBs to consider the Study Text N13752 in their ballot votes on ISO/IEC 14496-10:2012/DAM3.
3.6.5 The 3V subgroup has considered the Korean NB comment on depth coding tools in the AVC compatible video-plus-depth extension (M30385). Considering the fact that the compression benefit is rather small (1.5% on average over all sequences in the best known codec settings), the compatibility with depth map streams and decoding of MVC+D is considered more important, no action is taken.

3.14.2 A number of companies were requested to provide an IPR statement on Web Video Coding (ISO/IEC 14496-29), as listed in N13756. In anticipation of WebVC going to FDIS at the next MPEG meeting, MPEG will proceed by formally considering only IPR statements submitted to the ITTF by the closure of the DIS ballot. MPEG is therefore reminding participants of their disclosure obligations under the ISO/IEC Common Patent Policy to disclose any known patents.
