The grade for the carnaval project was a group grade. Points were given for finishing certain tasks, but we all know that in a group project some people do more work than others and some do very little at all. Also, some tasks required more effort than others. I am taking this into consideration as I give the grade for this project. I have made my own observations about who worked and who didn’t during class. I would like your opinion as well. Please write down your group name and the names of the people in your group. Then list the names of the people in your group, including yourself

Imagine that each group has a set number of points. How would you allocate those points to the group members according to effort applied to their tasks and effort supporting the group? For example, if there were 6 people in a group and the total amount of points were 60, how would you divide those points among the members? If everyone did an equal amount of outstanding work (equal number of responsibilities, everyone came in during lunch, etc), each person would get 10 points. If 5 people worked and one didn’t do very much then the person who didn’t work might get 5 points and the others would get 11 each.
