I am a statecertified diplomatranslator & -interpreter in the linguistic combination German / Danish – Danish / German.
I am a translator in the linguistic combination English / Danish.
I translate texts within many fields such as – in order by chance - e.g. medicals, healthcare, law, technical, food industry (and cooking recipes), user manuals, marketing, tourism, EU etc.
Earlier I was teaching in the A-level school, which was fun, however the dynamics in business life match my personality quite well. Refer to my profile at

Volunteer experience:
2004 -:Member of the local church council in Kristrup, Randers,where I work in three boards: activity board, board for children, youngsters and family and in the PR-board
2004 -:Volunteer in the Volunterer’s House of the Danish Refugee Councilin Randers, where we assist foreigners in doing homework, understanding letters from different authorities, writing letters and job applications etc.
Früher:Was in the local council of the organisation SOSand was the vice president for this organisation on a nationwide level.
Have volunteerd as an English-teacher in Poland
Was a co-founder of the legal advicecentre for foreigners in Randers, where I was in the board.
Participated in running a spare time center for children and youngsters in Fyrreparken, Odense.

Hobbies:
-Of course most of all my 18-year-old son, Rasmus, who visits the higher commercial school and my German partner Richard, who has been studying Scandinavian languages and litteratur (focus: Danish) & European Ethnology, also a transaltor.
-I like music very much, both music from others such as singing (used to compose a bit previously). I have been singing in different choruses – am a soprano.
-I read very much – books of very different topics, both scientific litterature such as good novels. My absolute favorite authors are Isabel Allende and Thomas Mann, I also like authors like e.g. Francine Rivers.
-Good movies, film adaptions, documentaries and German news, such as broadcastings from courtrooms.
-Love to experiment in the kitchen, like to cook foreign dishes, which has resulted in a bigger collection of foreign cooking books.
-Handycrafts: knitting and sewing.
-Travelling, meeting new people, and I got the feeling, I see much more having a camera around.
