Mrs. Cox, Mr. Mroz, Mrs. Ellinger, Ms. Laudani, Ms. Laird, and Mrs. Hughes have decided that due to your extremely high intelligence, they are letting you skip 7 years of your schooling. This means that you graduate this coming spring and are off to College next fall. I guess it is time for you to figure out what college you will be attending. Throughout the next couple of weeks you will choose a college and a partner, and with that partner you will plan out a trip to visit that college based on the following requirements:
· You will have the opportunity to choose a school based on a random selection of this year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Teams.
· The trip will be for 4 people: yourself, your partner, and one of your parents, and one of your partner’s parents.
· You will have a budget of $7,000.
· You must complete your trip in 5 - 7 days. You may leave Bloomington as early as April 27th, and you must return to Bloomington no later than May 5th.
· You must visit both schools, plan transportation, plan meals, plan hotel stays, plan touristy things, and learn about your school.
· Since you will be missing school your teachers are requiring a research based argument paper that explains why your school is a good fit for your future.
· You will also be required to submit your travel details and your budget. A specific form will be provided to you in order to report these details.
· You will be required to make a Billboard for your school to argue why it may be a good fit for you.
