Introduction
A claim letter is a means to inform the company regarding the partial or complete damage happened and request the company for the reimbursement of the same. The letter has to be written by the claimant to ask for the compensation or to inform about the damage that has taken place. This letter is also written by claimant in case of death of his relative to ask for the claim amount.

Some tips to write a good claim letter.
· Claimant should write this letter immediately after the damage has taken place.
· You must include all the details of the damage date, venue etc. You have to also mention the reason for the damage if any.
· Write the reference number on the basis on which the claim is being asked for.
· You have to attach supporting documents along with this letter. These documents may include death certificate, report of the doctor etc.
