Bonefish Cay For Rent:
Bonefish cay is located about 4 miles east of Coopers Town, North Abaco, Bahamas. The cay is about 13 acres in size and boasts six buildings in total, accommodating an expansive Master suite, six elegant guest suites for two, with bathrooms and showers in each suite, a chef's and caretaker's suite, and a stunning Great Hall with a professionally rated kitchen, full bar, dining and entertainment area.
The entire complex was built using the finest materials imported from Europe and the United States, as longevity and solidity were considered a topmost priority. Bonefish Cay was also composed with self sufficiancy in mind. It generates it's own electricity and has a desalination unit on site that provides a constant supply of fresh water. Although privacy is key to the peace of a private island, communications were also a recognized priority. Telephone, fax lines, satellite TV and internet services are all available on the cay. Access to the mainland of Great Abaco is just minutes away by one of two Bonefish Cay motor boats, providing an easy commute to the Treasure Cay and MarshHarbour airports, and making international access to the cay a breeze....
Bungalows: Three in total: Accommodates 7 double guest suites and up to 14 persons.Bungalow One holds a Master suite and two additional suites. In Bungalow Two there are four double suites including a studio with loft and kitchenette. Bungalow Three holds the caretaker’s and chef’s suite with a gym room. All suites are equipped with modern bathrooms, with toilet, single sinks and showers. The cay can accommodate up to 16 guests. The 750 sq. ft. master suite contains a unique central glass shower as well as a bathtub for two, all in a setting of pink granite imported from Brazil. The oversized king bed overlooks the Gulf of Abaco. This suite offers a dressing room, separate toilet/bidet facility and has its own private telephone, fax and internet service. Beautiful furniture and many fine art works from all over the world complete the decoration. The interior architect selected an individual style and color harmony for each suite.
Food and Beverage::
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is prepared for guests with their personal diet selection in mind, this will be done by a professional chef hired for the duration of your stay. A selection of non alcoholic beverages are included. Alcoholic beverages are an additional cost. All preferences for food and drink are selected from a prepared menu by guests prior to their stay.
Main Lodge:
In the dining area the very long glass table seats 14 (or 18 with four acrylic padded folding chairs). Breakfast, lunch and dinner have all got different linen and porcelain (some porcelain was specially made for Bonefish Cay). The tableware and silverware will honour the work of any chef!
The 30 foot high cathedral ceilings made of cypress wood lend majesty to the main house. The centre of the main lodge is the 28 ft. fully equipped maple bar. The beautiful 9 ft. maple pool table and the poker table (with a bumper/pinpool table inside), as well as the DJ sound system, light machine, karaoke machine, guarantee entertainment! The very comfortable TV area offers a large Philips TV screen, Bose home theatre, direct TV and 120 DVD movies.
Gym and game options:
Bonefish Cay has a fully equipped gym with views over the Sea of Abaco, also table tennis, volley ball equipment and an assortment of beach games. Guests have full access to non motorized water craft and snorkel gear. Scuba Diving is not offered on the cay but can be arranged with local dive operators.

Two high capacity boatlifts and a davit boatlift allow boats and passengers to board the island in very comfortable and safe conditions.

Towns Close By and Airports;
MarshHarbour: The “city” of North Abaco is an important service center. It offers an airport, supermarkets, medical services, general supplies, great shopping and dining. This is 50 minutes away with our car via the Abaco highway. Cooperstown (facing Bonefish Cay +/- 900 habitants) is about 12 minutes away by boat.
Treasure Cay:
Offers an airport, an 18 hole golf court (by Dick Wilson), supermarket, dining and shopping. It is 15 minutes to Cooperstown by car and then 12 minutes by boat or 20 minutes directly by boat.
Airlines and other Travel Options:
Several air companies, American Airline, Bahamas Air, Twin Air and Continental Airlines offer several flights from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando to Treasure Cay and MarshHarbour. Private Charters are easily arranged to land either in MarshHarbour, Treasure Cay or Spanish Cay, which is a resort island 15 minutes via boat from Bonefish Cay. All flight transfers are at guests expense.
