SUMMARY AND NEXT STEPS
- LPRAP
- Open Forum/ Panel: DBM – NAPC – NEDA – DSWD – DILG
- On whether or not the same beneficiaries will be covered in the next cycle or judged by 2013 performance: there will be updating by NSCB of the list of poor municipalities before the next budget cycle, and LGUs will have to earn the Seal of Good Housekeeping, based on unmet needs
- On submitted/ priority projects not included in the menu, NAPC will still try to consider them depending on the quality. Even projects in the menu may not be funded as they will be assessed
- On additional funding from NGAs to support LPRAP, this will be known after considering all the other budgets. As of now, there is 9B available for the 609 municipalities. There will be subsequent processes on identifying project design, costing, tracking.
- On stimulus funds and LPRAP funds: Stimulus fund is released based on the criteria of the DILG while the LPRAP funds will be released if you meet the following requirements: the plan, seal of good housekeeping, other criteria spelled-out in the joint circular.
