About the Position:
This position is part of the Army Civilian Training, Education, and
Development System (ACTEDS) and is a CIVILIAN position with the Department
of Army. The incumbent will serve as an Entomologist trainee with the United
States Army Environmental Command (USAEC).

As an Entomologist (Intern), you will be responsible for, but not limited
to, the following:

. Assist in the development, writing and technical review of the
Installation Integrated Pest Management Plan.
. Assist in tabulating the quantity and type of pesticide usage on
appropriate form and reviews periodic submissions from supported
installations, including assisting installations in calculating their annual
usage reports (calculation of pounds of active ingredients).
. Assist installations in the control of other pest species (rodents, bats,
undesirable flora, algae, fungus and others) controlled by herbicides,
rodenticides, or other pest management techniques.
. Assist installation coordination with various States, local and post
activities on areas of mutual involvement or concern regarding pesticide
use, coordinated application, limitations and restrictions, required human
safety-medical factors, legality and similar other matters impacting
on-going entomological activities planned modifications and anticipated
future planning.
. Maintain an up-to-date activity library of the various fungicides,
herbicides, insecticides, rodenticides and similar other chemical/ mineral
agents used in pest control activities for installations to access (web site
development and maintenance
