9. Is there money for travel reimbursement?
Yes. There is some money for campus travel when suggested in-person meetings occur.
10. Can you describe the mentoring part of this program?
Participants will either ask for a specific mentor, or be assigned to a mentor beginning in May 2015. Mentors will guide leadership participants toward their professional development plans and personal goals, and will spend about one hour a month with them. A special mentoring training will occur in March 2015.
11. What does executive coaching mean?
Participants will be broken into three cohorts. Each cohort will be asked to complete a 360 developmental assessment, a DiSC profile, and an emotional intelligence evaluation. Coaches will work with teams to review their personalized assessments and help participants with their professional development planning.
12. How many hours of my time will this take?
The formal twelve month curriculum will require approximately 40 hours of your time. Book reviews will occur on your own time. Job rotation/campus visits will depend on individual interest/availability. The independent project, which follows the end of the twelve month curriculum, should be absorbed in your existing work week.
13. I can’t commit to this class, but I’m interested in this program. When will the next class be launched?
We look forward to a successful program in our first year which will help guide us toward the development and announcement of the program next year. Thank you for your interest.
