Me to We

On Thursday, November 26, Me to Wemembers were silent. We chose to be silent to bring awareness to the plight of children and women who do not have a voice in their society or country. Many do not have the opportunity to attend school or to remain in school.

During the month of November, Me to We will be selling Rafiki bracelets for $10.00. All proceeds go to the country of our choosing through the organization – Free the Children. These bracelets would make wonderful Christmas gifts! To purchase a bracelet, visit our display at breaks or approach any Me to We member or Mrs. Smith. Thanks for your support.

Christmas Concert

The Elementary Christmas Concert will be Tuesday, December 15th at 7:00 p.m. Kindergarten to Grade Five will entertain us with a variety of songs- some traditional and some not so traditional! We will also have a band performance by the Grade Five and Grade Six Class. After the concert, please join us for some hot chocolate and dainties.

Thank you, Lampman Staff

Parent Parking

Due to safety concerns, parents are reminded that our parking lot is a “Kiss and Drop” Zone. This means that if you pull into the parking lot, you may only stop long enough to drop your child off. If you need to enter the school, you must park in the staff or overflow lot or on the street.

Thanks for your support!

Cold Weather Reminder

Please ensure your children are adequately dressed for the cold weather. For elementary students- extra clothing is also important to have at school. When temperatures reach below -24*, we will then have the children stay inside. When sending your child to school in the morning, we ask that they not arrive before 8:40 a.m. There is no supervision provided until 8:40 a.m.

**Please note** All school doors will by locked each day by 4:15 p.m. If there is an after school activity, the bus doors will be left open.

Thank you,

Lampman Staff

Jr. Girls’ Volleyball

Jr. Girls Volleyball is over. The girls (Mackenzie Carson, Hayley Dechaine, Faith Englot, Tristin Fleck, Alyssa Freeden, Kayla Grimes,Lillawhin Lay-Street, HailyMaier,Madison Stinson)had a very good season. They went to games almost every week and hosted teams as well. They played in tournaments in Arcola, Oxbow, Wawota and Estevan. They placed in the top three at all tournaments, and placed first in Wawota. Carlyle proved to be a strong opponent all season. The girls went to Districts on Nov 12 in Estevan. They met Carlyle in the final game. The final went to three sets. They came in second as once again Carlyle proved to be the stronger team. We are so proud of the girls and their efforts. They had a very successful season. A big thank you as well to all the parents for driving.

Coach Carrie Englot and Assistant to the Coach Ed Fieber.

We started the season off with a tournament in Carnduff. The girls went undefeated to win the tournament.

We played in the Estevan league and played some very tough teams.

Lampman hosted districts on November 12th. The rookie girls played hard the entire day losing only one set. They were very proud to win districts in their own school.

I am extremely proud of how hard the girls worked at their skill development and the way they represented Lampman School.

Congratulations!!
