HOUSEHOLD INDUSTRIES PERMISSIBLE IN VILLAGES (ABADI)
1. Black-smithy.

4. Dari/Carpet/Sari weaving (except dying & bleaching).
5. Ice cream and water-cooling by Refrigeration. (without cold storage).
6. Village pottery Industries ( without bhatti).
7. Village oil Ghani.
8. Wood Carving and decorative wood wares.
9. Stone engraving.
CONDITIONS TO SET UP HOUSEHOLD/SERVICE INDUSTRIES IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS
i. Only non-pollutant household industrial units with maximum 5 workers and 5 kilowatt power may be allowed in residential areas.
ii. The industrial units could permitted only after provisional registration by the Govt. of NCTD.
iii. Household industrial units shall be allowed on any floor to the extent of 50% of permissible floor areas of the dwelling unit.
iv. No inflammable or hazardous substance is permitted to be stored.
vi. Separate Industrial Electric Connection (Single Phase) and Municipal License, would be necessary to set up a household industry.
