Requested Priority (emergency/high/low): High / Requested Implementation Date:
TBD for PPL / Status:
Approved / will be incorporated into next version update of the IGs

Brief Explanation (This will be copied into the description in the Change Control Summary Spreadsheet):

PPL is requesting that a new rejection reason code “APA” (account pending active) code be added as a valid rejection reason for the 814 Enrollment, Historical Usage and Historical Interval Usage Response.

Detail Explanation (Exactly what change is required? To which EDEWG Standards? Why?):

Rather than use the rejection reason “A76” (account not found) for a pending active account, PPL will use “APA” to indicate that the account is pending active in order for the supplier to know they need to send in the Enrollment at a later date. This change adds new code to the REF7G of the EDI 814 Enrollment, Historical Usage, and Historical Interval usage transactions.
