Gabriele Rico’s One Pager

The following should be connected and should flow together (Look at the rubric for details about each individual part of the one-pager.):

v A visual (drawing or pictures from other sources that depict what you see when you read the piece of literature).

v 1 interpretive statement (not just a fact from the story, but a statement which states how you perceived and interpreted the story)

v 2 to 4 quotes that stand out as meaningful to the main idea or purpose of the story or poem

v 3 to 6 words or phrases that strike you as important to the author’s intent, tone, or purpose of the story or poem OR that support the interpretive statement you made
