Term Dates
Please read below carefully the important dates for the rest of this term. Some classes are cancelled or re scheduled due to the Audacity Dance tour.
-Wednesday 8th June parents evening 6:30-8:30pm at TGBS. Please see the notice board for details, telephone appointments will be done during this week to
-Sunday 12thand 19thJune dance competitions for those involved. See your comp pack for specific details
-Tuesday 21st June extra ballet class for Grade 2 students only. 6:15 – 7:15pm £4.50 at TGBS(PLEASE PAY ON THE DAY)
-Thursday 23rd June exam fees due for the June exam session. Please refer to exam letter that can also be found on the website
-Saturday 25th June after this date I will not be doing any more uniform orders until September
-Sunday 26th June exam session at TGBS 9am – 5pm
-Thursday 7th July REVIEW CLASS/NON UNIFORM (PARENTS/CARERS can watch part of lessons)
-Monday 11th July REVIEW CLASS/NON UNIFORM(PARENTS/CARERS can watch part of lessons)
-Wednesday 13th July REVIEW CLASS/NON UNIFORM (PARENTS/CARERS can watch part of lessons)
-Thursday 14th July no classes due to Audacity tour
-Saturday 16th July last day of the term, last day of classes REVIEW CLASS/NON UNIFORM(PARENTS/CARERS can watch part of lessons)
-Sunday 17th July Audacity performing at the Dovehouse Theatre
-Monday 18th July no classes due to Audacity tour
-Saturday 23rd July Dance School Picnic 11am-1pm at The Lickey’s by the Visitor Centre
-Monday 5th September return back to dance
If you are paying termly below is a list of how many dance days there are this term:

Our in house dance company are performing their debut dance piece called Perfect Imperfections. The dance piece is based on body image and explores the way image is portrayed through social media and TV. The performance is very intriguing and suitable for all ages. If you would like to watch the performance please come and see us on Sunday 17th July at the Dovehouse Theatre. Tickets are £10 and can be purchased from the Dovehouse Theatre website
The company will also be doing a special free performance for dance school members only. This will be on Monday 18th July at TGBS 5:45 – 6:45pm. There are only 30 places available to watch so please text me withyour child’s name to reserve their place in the audience
End of Term Social
Saturday 23rd July Dance School Picnic. All dancers and their family members are welcome, please bring your own picnic and all children must be supervised. 11am-1pm at The Lickey’s visitor centre side
Texts whilst teaching
Please note that when I am teaching I am unable to answer texts or enquiries. I do not see messages until the end of my lessons. Please be aware of this if you need an urgent enquiry answering during my teaching hours, please come and see me
Christmas Variety Show
I am looking for 30-35 dancers to perform in our annual Christmas Variety Show at the Dovehouse Theatre on Sunday 18th December 2016. If you would like be to be part of this event please ensure you meet the below criteria:
To participate you need to be:
-5 years+
-Attend two or more classes at the AGSOD. If you stop attending your normal lessons you will not be allowed to continue in the Christmas show
-Be available to attend rehearsals on Mondays 5:30 – 6:30pm at TGBS starting Mon 5th Sept – until the show (term time only). Rehearsals are £4.50
-£10 licence/admin fee will be required on Monday 5th September
