How to Apply
If you wish to study at the University of Innsbruck as an ERASMUS+ student, you should contact the ERASMUS+ coordinator at your home university and find out if a valid agreement exists in your field of study.
After being nominated by your home university’s ERASMUS+coordinator, please complete and submit the online Application for Admission:
Your application must also include our Erasmus Certificate with the official stamp and signature of your home coordinator, a CV, a copy of your passport, and yourLearning Agreement.
Please note that the University of Innsbruck does not accept Freemovers and/or non-exchange students.
Accommodation
Housing is a major concern for ERASMUS+ incomings. Accommodation is provided by the OeAD(the Austrian Service Centre for European and International Mobility and Cooperation)for those who apply and send a reservation deposit: rooms are allocatedon a first-come, first-served basis, so please apply as early as possible. You should not that this type of accommodation cannot be guaranteed.

An ERASMUS+ welcome event is held on the official first day of semester, at 5 p.m., in the Aula(the major assembly hall) of the main University building. It offers information on registration and German language courses, and serves as get-together withlocal students. Participation is strongly recommended.
