Target Audience
This program has been designed for physicians, fellows, residents, medical students, pharmacists, professional nurses, advanced practice nurses in the medical specialties of dermatology, internal medicine, infectious diseases, pathology, pediatrics and radiology.
Series Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
- Generate differential diagnoses in patients presenting with illnesses that could be caused by infectious diseases
- Improve confidence in understanding the latest modes for diagnostic testing for infectious diseases
- Review the latest treatment options for infectious diseases
- Improve communication across clinical teams to improve quality of care and patient safety

Physicians: The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
