This competition is being run by Lincs Independent Living Partnership (LILP), a consortium of five charitable organisations: Age UK Lincoln & Kesteven, LACE Housing, LHP, Lincolnshire Home Independence Agency and St Barnabas Hospice.

Please email your photograph (in 300 dpi, jpeg format) and this completed entry form

Paintings and drawings (please submit original artwork)

Paintings or drawings should be no larger than A3 in size (11.7 x 16.5 in).
Please write your name, address and telephone number clearly on the back of your painting or drawing and also securely attach this completed entry form.
Wrap in protective packaging and post or deliver to one of the following venues(please tick selected venue):

Overcoming loneliness: art competition rules

You must be aged 18 or over and a resident of Lincolnshire to enter this competition.

Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Acceptable entries include photographs, drawings or paintings (artwork) illustrating the theme ‘Overcoming Loneliness’. Only one entry is permitted per individual.

The closing date for entries is 17:00 hrs on Friday 1 June 2018.

Winning entries will be chosen by the Chief Executive Officers of the five LILP members and included in a LILP Calendar 2019.

The top three entries will be showcased at the Lincolnshire Show 2018, from which members of the public will determine an overall winner.
We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to artwork during transit or whilst in our keeping.
In submitting artwork for the competition, you confirm that:

-you are the author / copyright holder of the drawing, painting or photograph and that its reproduction by us will not infringe the Intellectual Property Rights, privacy or any other rights of any third party.

-you entitle us to reproduce the artwork in any/all media in perpetuity at no cost to us.

-you agree to participate in publicity, should you submit a winning entry.

-you permit us to display artwork in a marquee for two days and one night at the Lincolnshire Show (20 -21 June 2018) which will be unmanned overnight, should your entry be shortlisted as one of the top three.

-you will be responsible for collecting your painting or drawing from the venue to which you originally delivered it.

We take privacy issues very seriously. By completing this form and entering the competition, you will be providing us with your personal information. This notice explains how information about you is used.

References to ‘you’ means the person completing this form. References to ‘we’ or ‘us’ means Lincs Independent Living Partnership (‘LILP’).

Reasons for processing

The information you provide to us will be used to contact you if you are a winner. It will not be used for any other purpose or shared with third parties. Your personal information will be destroyed one month after the winners are announced.
