Tea towel or drying up cloth

Having sweets causes litter and may encourage insects into the tent so please do not bring them. We will provide a full service of meals so there is no need to bring extra rations yourself.
Other Items
Clothes pegs with your name on them – 2 to peg your flannel onto the washing line.
Pocket money. We will set a limit for this. Please do not exceed it. Make sure it is in a named purse as Cubs must look after their own money
Pills and potions. Please make sure that the dose and times when due are clearly marked. If you sometimes need an inhaler for asthma or tablets for hay fever please make sure that you bring them with you. Activities at camp can be strenuous and tired Cubs are more liable to need their inhalers.
Restricted Items (NOT ALLOWED)
Chewing gum or bubble gum
Electronic games
Mobile phones
Radios, personal stereos, iPods or MP3 players
Penknives
Jewellery(We have noticed that some Cubs like to wear jewellery. It is recommended that this is NOT worn at camp as given the nature of the activities it could be dangerous (particularly neck chains & bracelets). We also can’t be responsible for it if it gets lost or damaged.)
PLEASE ensure that ALL items are CLEARLY NAMED. In a crowded tent some personal gear is bound to get mixed up or separated from its owner. The only way to ensure that it gets back to the right person is to name it. This particularly applies to uniform which all looks alike.
First time campers may like to see which gives more information about which sleeping bag to buy.
