Confirmation that policy requirements can be met

It is confirmed that the following AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers) requirements for a placement in a student’s place of employment can be met (please tick):

1. / The employee is in a student role whilst on placement and s/he is able to meet the educational requirements, principles and policies set out in this document.
2. / As far as possible, the student will be allocated learning experiences not involving her/his routine work responsibilities.
3. / The student will receive protected time whilst on placement that is separate from the duties carried out at work and includes time to complete reading, reflective learning and assessment activities related tothe placement.
4. / Wherever practicable, the student’s agency field educator is nother/his line manager or usual supervisor.
5. / If the agency field educator is a social worker, at least 1.5 hours of supervision will be provided to the student per 5 days of placement.
