Ideas for Delegates Costumes

.IDEAS FOR DELEGATES’ COSTUMES

Hint: Keep it simple!!!!!!

· Shoes – use any shoes and add an aluminum foil “buckle” to the front

· Long white tube or knee socks

· White shirt with paper(tissue or construction) or scarf ruffle in the front and sleeves

· Blazer or jacket (borrowed or already owned)

· Vest

· Baseball or sweat pants rolled to the knee

· Bathing cap /shower cap/ baseball cap with cotton balls

· Hair tied back in a “queue” (low pony tail with ribbon)

· White powder in hair (apply at home – NOT in school)

· Old glasses (with or without lenses)

· Pillows for padding for the portly statesman

· Cane or walking stick for elder statesman

Be Creative and let’s have fun and create a government that will last for at least 200 years!
