● Accessing Higher Ed Track

2 day class to focus on identifying personal education goals, researching schools and means of financial assistance, and contracting and applying for admission to colleges and universities with a goal of obtaining a degree

A program for those planning to start a small business: gain the tools and knowledge needed to identify a business opportunity, draft a plan, and launch an enterprise

· University of Washington- Tacoma

Questions about going to college in the state of WA, career exploration or financing your education? Contact Wanda Curtis at to schedule individual appointments for career development assessment and/or college planning – Mon and Wed 1000-1430. Meet at the SFL-TAP Center, Bldg 3271. Walk-ins accepted and appointment slips available for your unit or command.

· Military to Manufacturing (M2M)

Orientation: Session about an accelerated training program for veterans to qualify for immediate hire with manufacturing companies

· ITP Review

This class is designed for Service Members to update and/or complete their Individual Transition Plan.

Offered, Fri 9am-11am & 1-3pm ***Must be scheduled*** No Walk ins!

● Capstone

This class is designed for Service Members to complete the required ITP Checklist,

DD Form 2958. If there is also any additional assistance needed, support agencies

will be present as well. Must complete prior to 90 days from ETS.

Offered weekly, Mon, Tue, Wed & Thu ***Must be scheduled*** No Walk ins!

· Northwest Edge

Are you staying in Washington upon transitioning? Those who wish to participate in Northwest Edge must have a general resume prepared and at the ready (with a career counselor review) and must continue to reside in Washington state following transition. Call 477-4747 for more details!
