Lewisville Class of 2011 offered over $1.1 million in scholarship monies, LHS earns Palmetto Gold honors
Lewisville High School’s Class of 2011 was offered over $1.1 million in scholarships during the annual senior awards program Wednesday, June 1, announced Dr. James G. Knox III, LHS principal.
“I am extremely proud of this group of 84 seniors. They have worked hard and I know that they will continue to be successful ,” said Dr. Knox.
During the awards program, Sonny and Angie Conner were recognized for their many years of service to Lewisville High School, as president and vice president of Athletic Booster Club, and for the countless number of volunteer hours they have given to the school.
Acting Superintendent Col. Blair Turner recognized the faculty and students of Lewisville High School for earning the Palmetto Gold status. He then presented a Palmetto Gold flag to Dr. Knox .
