District Area and Definition: Nyngan District to comprise Bogan, Bourke, Brewarrina, Cobar and Warren Shires,and both horse and rider must reside in the Nyngan Show District or be an active member of Nyngan or Tottenham Pony Clubs for a period of 28 days prior to the Show.Any bona fide residents who do not comply with the above conditions and wish to ride in district events may apply to the Secretary in writing 7 days prior to the show, for consideration of special dispensation.A committee of Ringmaster, President and Vice President to rule on any application received. Any horse or rider competing illegally in district events will be disqualified from taking any further part in the current Nyngan Show.

**NO ELECTRIC FENCES ALLOWED ON THE SHOWGROUND**

Nyngan Show is run under EA & SHC Rules-

Rings 1,2 & 3-Stallions cannot compete in a ridden class- except breed classes- they MUST wear a bit in all classes-Excludes Showjumping.

NEW BRIDLE NUMBER, ENTRY FEE & WAIVER SYSTEM

A$10- per horse entry feeapplies for the show ring events, covers entry into any number of show ring events; (excluding show jumping, barrels & working stockhorse) this replaces the $2 Gold Coin per class fee.

No Bridle number/wristband= no ring entry

Competitors MUST get a bridle number for each horse,from the Secretary’s Office, clear details must be given, waivers signeda $10 event fee paid. In rider classes the rider must give their name to the Steward if placed. One bridle number per horse only. One wristband per rider only. Replacement bridle numbers will require another $10- entry fee payment. Fees & waivers can be sent to the Secretary prior to the show.

ANY competitor trying to misuse this system will risk disqualification and non-recording of qualifications with EA, RAS, VAS & SHC.

NO EVENTS WILL BE HELD FOR COMPETITORS IN OTHER RINGS.

Pleasure Events to be ridden in a snaffle, with no spurs or whip. Champions are NOT eligible for Supreme.

RANDOM SWABBING MAY TAKE PLACE

Competitors must show exhibits as either Show Hunter or Hack, for the duration of the show.

Height certificates will be accepted from RAS, EA, & VAS.

All ponies, galloways & hacks must be measured if they do not have a current height certificate.

*AllChild’s Pony, Childs Galloway or Childs Hack classes- the child must be under 17.

All Champions eligible for Supreme Hack/or Hunter of the Show, to be judged at the conclusion of all Sunday Show Ring events, in Ring A, and must be ridden in a snaffle bridle.

All Champion Riders will be eligible for Supreme Rider to be judgedat the conclusion of all Sunday Show Ring events, in Ring A

All riders must be in EA approved helmets.

INDEMNITY & WAIVERS MUST BE SIGNED BY ALL COMPETITORS – A WRIST BAND WILL BE HANDED OUT & THIS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES OR NO ENTRY TO CLASSES.

Nyngan Show Society does NOT accept any responsibility for any damage or injury caused by any horse or competitor whilst in attendance at the Show.

The Nyngan Show Committee reserves the right to alter the program & judges, and/or to reject any entries/competitor/exhibit, without giving any reason.

The Ringmaster &/or Stewards may ask for relevant CURRENT registration papers to be shown to them, all competitors must produce these papers or they will be disqualified, and the result/s will not be recorded.
