Groundbreaker teams visit schools and move through communities
Logistics / LOC takes control:
Staff meeting
Sport codes (rugby, soccer, netball, cricket) do registration of participating teams and hand out t-shirts
Dominoes and board games-organisers do registration of participants. / Venue for Cultural side of Youth Festival 2014 is at the OldHarbour.
LOC meets at 07:30 for final arrangements / Guided nature walks by Hiking Club:
Different options: coastal walk, mountain walk
Rock climbing activities for youngsters by Hiking Club
LOC meets at 07:30 for final arrangements for day.
Anti Drugs and Crime March forms up with Brass Band
08:30 – 09:00 / Opening ceremony:

All participants form up and march in

09:00 – 10:00 / Rugby and soccer activities on main field controlled by the respective sporting codes
Netball activities on netball courts controlled by sporting code
Dominoes and board games in Rugby club house / Gospel and religious music performed by Marimbas and individual performers / Anti Drugs and Crime March through town and ends on Sportsfield
10:00 - 11:00 / Multilingual and interdenomical church service in the Kerkgrot and harbour area / Boeresport

Demonstrations of kite flying and weight lifting on main sports field
Horse riding and dressage demonstrated on netball courts / Food stalls and restaurants

Entertainment by cultural groups (Hangklip Dayzees? Stoepsitters? Brass Band) / Breaking up of festival ground.
