Buggyfit risk assessment - example
What is Buggyfit?
Buggyfit is a postnatal exercise system designed to promote a sense of well being in new mums. Each class is closely instructed by fully qualified and insured fitness instructors who have been trained specifically to train pre and postnatal Mothers. The classes comprise a mix of cardio vascular exercise including power walking with buggies at a pace to raise their heart rates, and strengthening and toning exercises, all whilst having the opportunity to socialise and still keep baby with them. It is a fantastic way to start exercising safely after childbirth.
Emma Redding set up Buggyfit in 2002. Emma is an advanced fitness instructor and personal trainer, often invited to present on the subject. She is a member of the Guild of Post Natal Exercise Teachers.
There are now 348 Buggyfit classes across the UK and Holland.
