Independent reading
  • Read pages and sign as per reading card

  • Learn these words every day. (Adults say word out loud, learner writes it down)
  • Spelling test on Friday.

  • Count forwards in 4’s from 4 – 48.
  • Draw the following clocks: Half past 6, Half past 10 and Half past 2.

  • Practice the pronunciation of the Afrikaans alphabet with your child.

  • Please read daily! Sign reading cards on a daily basis. Learners will not receive new readers if reading card is not signed.

  • Write a sentence using three of the following words: then, that and sixth. All these words must be in one sentence.
