What are you doing and why?
The Olmsted Falls Lacrosse Association has partnered with Mr. Yard Landscape Supply to offer the Olmsted community high quality mulch products to help raise funds for its program (fields, equipment, uniforms, referees, etc.) and keep registration fees low for its players. Mr. Yard is your #1 resource for quality bulk and bagged landscaping materials and winter supplies. The Mr. Yard team has been proudly serving the local community from their location at 8997 Columbia Road for 25+ years. They are your local supplier of everything you need to do-it-yourself and save money!
Introduce yourself & your organization
1. Go Door to Door and sell in person – give letter and order form in person
2. If neighbor is not home, leave letter inside storm door or place letter in envelope with neighbor’s name and place in mailbox. (post office rules do not allow flyers/pamphlets to be placed inside mailbox without postage)
3. Email friends and family personalized letter, attach order form document to email
Give Information about the product and delivery
1. There are 5 different options of mulch.
2. Mulch comes in 2 Cubic Foot Bags ranging from $5.00 to $6.50, depending on the type you choose. If ordering this way, bags will have to be picked up by the customer on Saturday, May 6 at the Middle School between the hours of 10am – 4pm. Bags MUST be picked up on May 6; PLEASE TELL CUSTOMERS TO BRING PLASTIC PROTECTION FOR THE INSIDE OF THEIR CARS (Mr. Yard nor the Lacrosse Association provides plastic bags or other protection).
3. Mulch can also be purchased by the Cubic Yard with prices ranging from $35-$49 and delivered by Mr. Yard for a fee (see order form for delivery fees). Mr. Yard will coordinate a delivery date with the customer by early May. Customer does not need to be home in order to receive delivery. Mulch purchased by the cubic yard will be dumped in a single pile in the driveway. If no one is home, the driveway must be clearly marked with a bucket/cone where the center of pile is desired. Mr. Yard will dump as close as possible to desired location based upon site conditions and overhead restrictions.
Give Payment and Perks Information
1. Customer must pay for order now. All sales are FINAL. Mr. Yard purchases our mulch orders specifically for our fundraiser and cannot change the order after 3/20/17. Checks are payable to Olmsted Falls Lacrosse Association (OFLA) and can also be sent to OFLA, 27150 Lynde Drive, Olmsted Falls, OH 44138
2. Each customer receives $5.00 of Mr. Yard Cash that may be used on a future purchase at Mr. Yard – no restrictions. Much thanks to Mr. Yard for their support!
3. 1 Lucky customer who purchases at least 10 bags of mulch or 3 Cubic Yards of mulch will be entered in a drawing to have his/her mulch spread for free by members of the Lacrosse teams!!
Timeline
January 5 – Lacrosse Registration Night - Order forms and information will be distributed. START SELLING!
March 20 – Order deadline…All orders must be turned in to your coach or dropped off at 27150 Lynde Drive.
May 6 – Customer pick up day at OFMS from 10am – 4pm. (We need parent helpers to work in shifts!)
April/May - Mr. Yard contacts customers who purchased Cubic Yards to schedule delivery.
