1. Progress Update
ENPO Senior Management had initiated a Capacity Building Project, with Technical Assistance from the World Bank, in order to be able to identify potential leaders, from within the current human capital of ENPO that would be able to carry forward the ambitious change program undertaken within the organization.
An assessment centre was run by PricewaterhouseCoopers Egypt during the period 4-7 June 2007 for a total of 39 candidates with the objective of identifying their current strengths and areas for development. As a result 20 potential leaders were identified.
In addition, a performance management program document was developed to further capitalize on the selected individuals and enhance their contribution to the success of ENPO. This document is still draft to be reviewed with the client
Based on the assessment centre results, training needs were identified for the 20 potential leaders, and training providers were approached and short listed by PricewaterhouseCoopers and an agreement has been reached with Inter-logics, a UK-based training firm.
Next Steps, the Leadership and Change Management training is scheduled to start in February ’08. PwC will be involved in the ongoing monitoring of the training’s effectiveness and raising monthly reports to ENPO.
We have attached a number of documents for your kind attention detailing the work that has been carried out so far and the project’s work progress to date, these include the following:
