Gena Pemberton

Gena Pemberton is a Senior Finance Manager handling Finance Recruiting at Johnson & Johnson. Gena is responsible for the US Finance Recruiting strategy and execution for Co/op/Interns, Experienced Hires, FLDP and MBALDP.

Gena joins us from Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, where she was a Finance Manager supporting the Joint Business and the System Transition team. In that role, Gena managed over 40 license agreements and the accounting related to them. She was the key contact during the extensive joint business audit by Novartis. She had a unique role where she had to balance both internal and external business partner needs to meet key financial goals.

Gena started her career at Johnson & Johnson in 2006 with the SLC in Skillman as a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the Global Transportation organization. In 2008, she joined Ortho Clinical Diagnostics in Raritan, NJ, as a Finance Manager. Gena held various finance roles supporting Customer Technical Services, Marketing, and Research & Development. Gena had been with Johnson & Johnson for 8 years before the Ortho Clinical divestiture. While at Johnson & Johnson, Gena was able to build strong relationships based on her leadership roles in the AALC, FAALC, and FNL that will prove to be beneficial in her new role.

Before joining J&J, Gena worked at Motorola in Schaumburg, IL and Glen Rock, NJ, holding various finance roles supporting Credit, Sales, and Project Management. She joined Motorola as a member of their College Rotation Program.

Gena holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Hampton University and a MBA from the University of Phoenix.
