Volunteer Role Outline

Coffee Mornings and Events Volunteer

The Coffee Morning and Events Volunteer role involves working with your local Village Agent to provide a social activity for people living in your town or village in the South Lakeland area, which may or may not be a fundraising event.

By prior arrangement and agreement, you will be attending a venue where an event has been arranged and assisting the Village Agent to make it a success. It may be that you prefer to bake cakes, scones or biscuits for the event and deliver them on the day, or you may have the time to attend and help out at the event. It is up to you.

Volunteers need to be able to get to the location on time. They must be happy to deal with a variety of different people and have an empathy and understanding of the needs of the age group of our clientele.
