Highlights of successes and for the future: sharing of DLT news; UVA topics – struggle for principals but Cory wants them but principals will now have a choice of what to write about rather than having a topic given to them; field trip application changed; 2 FRIM teachers to look at universal screening to match with Aimsweb; Data upkeep for Aimsweb and Test-on-line will be done at Central Office; upcoming mtg on June 9 to identify areas to look at for September.
Concerns: OHS; supervision; development of PD should be done by teachers; time for collaboration for teachers

/4.2.1 District Rep., Paul McCann / Task Force on Teaching Excellence – 1700 attendees – all stakeholders in attendance- lot of articles in papers;
Minister Johnson(MJ) opened, Hancock was there – documents are on-line; MJ talked quietly, sounded good and will sound good to public; 25 recommendations (4 pillars of teaching excellence); ATA is upset; all is on-line at the ATA website-Elana will send link to the information; must have immediate action;
