2017-18 KYAE Skills UCollege Course Request for Approval
While funds are available, KYAE Skills U will reimburse college tuition up to $1300 per semester, not to exceed $3900 per yearper instructor or program director. Priority consideration will be given to full-time staff. Reimbursements will be granted to part-time staff members as funds permits. In the application, part-time staff will also need to provide justification for qualifying for the reimbursement, as well as how their course(s) will benefit their adult learners.
August 1, 2017 (for fall semester) and January 1, 2018 (for spring/summer semesters), are the Semester Application Deadlines. All applicants should complete this form by August 1 or January 1, identifying their proposed coursework and semester(s) for the year.
Reimbursement is available for undergraduate coursework in English language, learning disabilities, education, reading, language arts, science, social studies, mathematics, and social work; and for graduate level courses to earn a master’s degree in linguistics, English language, adult education, arts in teaching, reading, language arts, science, social studies, mathematics and social work.
