Job Title: VIP Relationship Manager – Informa Global Finance
Reports to: Head of VIP Relations

Job Summary/Responsibilities
• Liaising with conference producers, sales team members, speakers and sponsors to identifying key industry VIPs (usually investors) to invite to Global Finance events.
• Contacting the selected individuals on the phone to discuss attendance and securing their participation in various structured networking / social formats.
• Work closely with the conference producer to validate the eligibility of incoming requests for VIP passes.
• Register VIP clients on SAP
• Work closely with the event sponsors to maximise the participation of their clients in the event.
• Building strong relationships with these key individuals to create brand commitment and loyalty.
• Organise VIP Dinners, Breakfast Briefings and Closed-Door Meetings
• Meet and greet the VIPs onsite at the events, ensure they are looked after and participate in the proposed networking/social programme.
The Role
The position of VIP Relationship Manager is one of high responsibility and accountability within ICBI. The challenge of identifying and building relationships with VIPs from key industry sectors in order to secure their participation in various events is challenging but compensated for by immense job satisfaction.

Requirements
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
An excellent phone manner, strong Internet research skills, time management with the ability to multi-task, solid interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and the ability to make cold calls are all essential.
Previous experience in the conference industry is not necessarily required.
Working Hours
Full time = 37.5 hours a week
