The Junior Activities Committee and Officers have spent many hours planning this year’s Junior Prom. We feel confident the decisions made will guarantee an enjoyable evening.

The Junior Class will be selling tickets in front of office # 1 before and after school and during homeroom only. Payment is to be made in full and a parent permission form for BOTH you and your date are required to purchase a ticket. If payment is in cash, please bring the exact amount for the tickets. Checks will be accepted and should be made payable to BHS – Class of 2017. Tickets will be sold from Monday, February 8, 2016 to Monday, March 7,2016.
Table reservations may be made when the five couples who plan to sit together have purchased their tickets. (Only when all five couples have paid for their tickets will table reservations be made, receipts MUST be brought to Ms. Toselli when making reservations). Table reservations can be made during homeroom on March 2ndth through the 8th outside Office 1. It is strongly suggested that you and your friends reserve a table. All students who do not reserve a table will be placed at unreserved tables.
Listed on the next page are the necessary rules and regulations governing student conduct at the 2016 Junior Prom. We are sure you will find these regulations are in your best interest and in the spirit of acceptance of responsibility as young adults. All students and their guests will be expected to comply.
The requirements for the Junior Prom are as follows:
1. The attached form must be completed in full and signed by your parent/guardian and your
date’s parent/guardian. You will be expected to assume responsibility for the conduct of your date
if he/she is not a Bensalem student.
2. Suggested arrival time is between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM. Assorted Hors D’oeuvres will be served
between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM. You MUST arrive by 8:00 PM and be seated at your table. Dinner will begin at 8:00 PM.
3. Lifetouch Studios will be present to take your prom pictures. Photo packets can be picked up at the
time of ticket purchase.
4. Once you arrive and enter Falls Manor you are expected to remain at the prom for the entire
prom. Do not leave articles in your car that you may need during the evening. (cameras, phone,
chargers, etc,)
5. No one will be permitted to leave the prom before 10:30 PM.
6. Any person suspected to be under the influence or in the possession of any chemical substance
or alcohol will be immediately turned over to the police authorities and, in accordance with the
school board policy # 4310, the student will receive a minimum of 5 days out of school
suspension and charges will be filed with the police. This action precludes the possibility of
future participation in the evening’s activities. No refund of any kind will be made to prom
participants for disciplinary removal from the prom.
7. Junior Prom is a school function. With that fact in mind, appropriate behavior, including appropriate
dancing will be expected. If any student is asked more than twice to stop inappropriately dancing,
their parents will be notified and they will be asked to leave prom.
8. In the event of any problem or disagreement, the judgment of the chaperones will prevail.
9. Please be sure to bring your formal prom invitation with you. You will not be admitted into the
prom without your invitation/ticket.
******On the day of Prom, all students who have had parent permission slips signed to attend prom will be dismissed at 10:57 (the end of 4th period). Students must have their own ride to leave at 10:57 AM. THERE WILL BE NO BUSSES. If students cannot provide their own transportation, they must stay the full school day. IN ADDITION, ALL STUDENTS THAT ARE LEAVING EARLY MUST REPORT TO THE GYM LOBBY AND SIGN OUT WITH MRS. SIBLEY OR MS. TOSELLI. FAILURE TO SIGN OUT WILL MEAN YOU CANNOT ATTEND THE PROM AND THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS.
