TREASURERS REPORT – Ann Erdahl Current checkbook balance is $ 661.83

OLD BUSINESS

  • New jerseys for MBA youth – K1 Company brought some samples to Morris. Formed a committee of Jason Picht, Marie Hansen, Cobe Bruns, Justin LeClair, Dave Tolifson & Shelly Hoffman to look into the purchase & selection of a jersey. Justin is asking the Benson VFW for a donation of $1,400.
  • Goalie Band – Justin LeClair has someone (Corey) making one for each rink to use next year.
  • Numbers for next year – Discussed
  • Rink Rat – Morris working on next year incentive. Maybe stocking caps.
  • Coaches Payment – only a few were paid out. District will reimburse $10 per coach if we contact District with our coaches list. We will put the money in the Joint Account.
  • Banquet for board members & coaches – Went good. Around 26 attended. Have sooner?
  • Hockey Pins – the Benson Mites didn't get theirs. Looking into why not.
  • Online Registration – Will look into. Morris will have 1st registration in June.

NEW BUSINESS

  • Domain Engine - $19.95 per year for our name. We will reimburse Tom Hoffman. Dave Tolifson is the Benson webmaster & Jason Picht the Morris webmaster
  • Scheduler- Jason will put out an email to the association about the position. Tina Kuseske has applied again. Deadline is July 15th & we will vote at our August meeting.
  • District Information - Safe Sport will be promoted again

-Benson will host Districts for 12U Class B February 13-15

-Morris will host Distrcits for 12U Class A February13-15

-Push for the retention of kids age 8 and under

-Promoting a Development Coordinator for each association

-Squirts will have a District Tournament – every team can be in it. Seeding will be picked out of a hat. Little Falls Class A & Long Prairie Class B

-Level 4 certification on May 17th & 18th or in September in Bloomington

  • Board Election – President M/S/P (Hoffman/C. Bruns) that Justin LeClair be President

Vice Pres M/S/P (Hansen/LeClair) that Jason Picht be Vice President

Secretary M/S/P (LeClair/Hoffman) that Marie Hansen be Secretary

Treasurer M/S/P (Hoffman/DeHaan) that Ann Erdahl be Treasurer
