Circle of Friends, a weekend designed for adults with a brain injury and their caregivers.
** A family member or caregiver must accompany any survivor who requires 24 hour care. Circle of Friends volunteers and mentors will provide supplemental support for the survivor and their family.
Camp Dates: November 4, 5, & 6, 2016 (Friday-Sunday)

Cost: Weekend $50 per person – Daytime $15
Registration & Paper Work – Due Oct. 10, 2016 A limited number of financial scholarships will be available, if needed, please complete and return the scholarship application form along with your paperwork, as soon as possible. These scholarships are based on a first come, first serve basis. Your medical form and release forms will be all included in this mailing. Please advise if you have to cancel, so your space may be filled.

WHAT TO BRING: Pillow, sheets, blanket or bedroll and bath towels. Please mark your belongings with your name. Clothing: Jeans, tee shirts, tennis shoes, jacket, caps, night sleeping clothes, robe and shower shoes. Body-hand soap & shampoo.
Sunglasses, camera, film, flashlights, insect repellent. Assistive Devices if needed.
Conduct Circle of Friends, Inc. Camp: Inappropriate behavior (physical, mental, verbal, sexual), physical fights or threat of fights, and dress code violations will not be tolerated and will be enforced by the Staff members. Violations of these codes of conduct will result in dismissal and/or removable from camp and possible suspension from any Circle of Friends camp in the future. (Including Higher Ground and Mountain High camps). All survivors, caregivers, family members, volunteers will move to and from each activity as a group. No individual activities will be allowed while at camp. No survivor/camper will be allowed in sleeping quarters alone, at any time without their counselor. Survivors/camps will obtain permission from their camp counselor for all activities, and their whereabouts during all hours, while at camp. Cabin counselors and volunteers will report to the Staff of Circle of Friends any violations of these rules of behavior. No person shall be permitted to attend Circle of Friends if they have had a felony conviction, or a misdemeanor, conviction involving moral turpitude.
These rules and regulations are necessary to ensure a smooth functioning camp; they have been established for all survivors, staff members, family members and volunteers.
(1)The following is NOT allowed: Alcoholic Beverages, Knives, Fireworks, Firearms or other weapons,NoPETS (except service animals with certificates), Drugs, except for prescription and other legal drugs and provided by the individual family members to their personal use.
(2)Smoking is not permitted inside any building and only in an outside area stated by the camp director. Smoking cans will be provided for cigarette butts. Use them!
(3)Visitors must check in with the CampDirector
(4)Personal sports equipment is not allowed: skate boards, roller blades, water guns, paint ball, silly string, and water balloons. and etc.
(5)Camp facilities must be left clean and free from debris – Don’t Mess With Texas
Release for Family Members, Volunteers, Pilot Members, Anchor Members, Camp StaffMembers. This camp is being sponsored by the Pilot International Texas District Club members and the Texas Pilot TBI Camp Foundation. The purpose of this camp has been explained to me and if I am accepted to participate then I agree to: Hold Harmless Camp Shiloh, Circle of Friends Assn., Inc. Pilot International, Texas District Pilot Clubs, and Texas Pilot TBI Foundation, Inc., their servants, agents, employees, directors, officers, volunteers, and all persons in privilege with them from any claims, demands, suits or judgments which might be claimed or obtained by me, or any person in privilege with me. I also give my permission for campers, counselors, volunteers, news media staff, as well as PR representatives from above mentioned entitles to video and/or photograph me during camp activities. It is OK to include my name and address in the camp roster that will be distributed.
