The essay will be submitted to DARE and will be part of your English writing grade for the fourth quarter. The grade will be scored as a Test grade.
Please apply appropriate writing skills to this assignment. This would include using the five step writing process and incorporating the six traits of writing into your essay.
Content is very important. Think about everything that you have discussed, learned, and experienced in DARE in these many weeks.
Please turn in two copies of your essay with this rubric packet.
Please save the published final draft to your flash drive, because in class we will make a Wordle poster of your essay to hang in the hallway.
Remember to support your opinions with facts that you learned.
