SOL: 11.8 The student will analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and organize information from a variety of sources to produce a research product.
11th grade students in LCPS must write at least one 4-8 page research paper that analyzes, interprets, synthesizes, and evaluates information each year.
Directions: Write an essay (4-8 pages) arguing which side of a chosen amendment the population should support. Be sure to support your argument with appropriate research and address counter-claims.
