Centralized government / -  A single authority that has power over a country / -  Han Dynasty officials ran China directly / -  Liu Bang established centralized government for the Han Dyansty
-  Shi Huangdi was the first to centralize China’s government
Dynasty / -  A monarchy where power is passed through a family / -  The Han Dynasty is an early example of a dynasty. / -  Liu Bang started the dynastic system among the Han.
Civil Service / -  Government jobs that citizens obtained by taking an examination / -  Exams on Confucianism is how people of the Han qualified for jobs / -  Confucius, because he encouraged his follows to enter government jobs.
