The Robert D. Brooks Academic Achievement Award is a scholarship given out annually to an FSU student who has completed SLS1122 (Strategies for Academic Success) with a grade of B or higher, has an FSU cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and demonstrates that enrollment in the course has had a significant impact on his or her academic success. The SLS1122 course assists students with creating and applying study and life skills that will help them to be successful in their academic lives at FSU and beyond.
